FOLLOW UP DISCUSSION/ SEMINAR TO DISCUSS DELAYS IN OBTAINING VAT REFUNDS
As a follow up to the several representations made by EASL to the Authorities regarding the long overdue VAT Refunds and the meetings held last year with the officials concerned, the EASL Managing Committee will be convening a special seminar/ follow up discussion with the VAT Commissioner of the Inland Revenue Department in order to discuss this pressing matter and expedite payment of the outstanding refunds.
In this regard, as done last year, EASL requires a feed back from its members regarding their current VAT Refund status. Affected members will also be invited to the meeting to enable them to interact with Authorities on this matter, and date of meeting will be advised shortly.
We urge members to submit their individual refund status, as per the format given below, by latest Tuesday, 31st August 2010. Please forward the requested details as an email attachment to [email protected]
